As I type this article in September, I know that many people (like me) are alarmed at how quickly this year is flying by! When you turn over the calendar, you realise that Christmas really isn't that far away and it leads to thoughts of presents, holidays and Christmas Day lunch. I know, it's too soon, isn't it! Many people will be visiting family and friends in Canberra, or perhaps they live in Canberra and will be booking a Christmas Lunch, to feel spoiled for the day and not have to worry about washing up. Sounds good to me!
Many venues advertise their Christmas Day Lunch early in the year, so that couples, families and groups of friends can book in early and then relax, knowing that they have a festive table booked for the day. These are the venues that are now taking bookings, with seafood, turkey and all the delicious trimmings. Where will you be spending Christmas Day this year?
