A jam-packed list of fun with the kids
As the Gold coast tagline goes "Famous for Fun", and it is hard not to agree with this when checking out the Top Child-Friendly Activities across the Gold Coast and surrounds listed below.

The List is perfect for family fun and pint-sized adventures for the little ones to enjoy, explore and experience.

The List below includes both free and ticketed activities:

1. Mount Tamborine
Where: Tamborine National Park, Tamborine, Tamborine Mountain and Mount Tamborine regions.

Cost: Free
Details: This is the perfect family-friendly outing with hinterland hikes, waterfalls, lookouts, walks, and plenty of nature outdoor activities at the 3rd oldest National Park in the world! 2. Tallebudgera Creek
Where: 1544 Gold Coast Highway, Palm Beach
When: All year round.
Cost: Free
Details: There is so much to do and see as well as plenty of kid activities with a small beach with lots of shade. The calm waters are perfect for water activities to be enjoyed such as swimming and kayaking, picnic areas and access from the other shore of Tallebudgera Creek from Burleigh Heads National Park offers more privacy. 3. Burleigh Heads National Park

Where: Access from off Gold Coast Highway, Goodwin Terrace, Burleigh Heads

Cost: Free
Details: This lush green outcrop on the Gold Coast is a wonderful day out - take the kids on a scavenger hunt to see who can spot out the most critters... it is a great way to have fun. 5. Broadwater Parklands

6. Natural Bridge at Springbrook & Glow Worms

When: All year round
Cost: Free
Details: Just under one hour drive from Gold Coast you will be welcomed to waterfalls, bushwalks, lookouts, walking trails suitable for 3 year olds , picnic areas, glow worm caves and more. Click here for website.

7. Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens
Where: 230 Ashmore Rd, Benowa

Details: The kids will love to stop and smell the roses at the Rose Garden, as well as running wild and touching the plants at the Sensory Garden. 11. Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

12. David Fleay Wildlife Sanctuary

Details: David Fleay is described as the father of wildlife conservation and he established the wildlife park in 1952 and was the first person to successfully breed platypuses in captivity. This is the perfect attraction for the little ones to see Fleay's remarkable legacy as they view and learn about Australian animals and wildlife conservation. 13. Jellurgal Aboriginal Culture Centre
Where: 1711 Gold Coast Hwy, Burleigh Heads
When: Monday- Friday: 8am-3pm

Details: The kids will enjoy taking a trip to the Dreamtime with the courtesy of the Gold Coast's Yugambeh people as they tell tales. There are tour walks, bush tucker, library and in-house art workshop. Click here for website.

14. Gold Coast Wax Museum

Details: Listed as a Great Wax Museum of the World as well as being Australia's largest museum of its kind and the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, the kids will love having fun here. 15. Learn to Surf

16. Bike Rides

17. Pelican Feeding at Labrador

Where: Ian Dipple Lagoon, 371 Marine Pde, Labrador
When: All year round: Feeding time daily at 1:30pm
Cost: Free
Details: The kids will love seeing hundreds of pelicans gathering for a feed! Charis Seafood opens one of the back windows and feeds these amazing creatures fishy leftovers and it is certainly one fun way for the kids to experience up close and personal pelican feeding! You can enjoy picnic in the park, walks and beach activities.
