Where the amazing burgers are
One of my favourite things to eat when I go out is a burger, a burger is simple enough that it's hard to make wrong, but also simple enough that you can do amazing things with it. In my time in Canberra, I have had some great burgers, but these are my favourite so far!

Bad Betti's

The first burger venue on the list is on the Kingston Foreshore, at the Caribbean inspired Bad Betti's. Here they only offer four burgers, but these four burgers are amazing, the meat was cooked perfectly while the pineapple and lime salsa, butter lettuce and beetroot chutney all worked perfectly together on a soft bun.

6/2 Trevillian Quay, Kingston | 12PM - 10PM Sun - Thur & 12PM - 12AM Fri - Sat

Beef and Barely

Also, on the foreshore is another of my favourite burger places Beef and Barely. Here they do things a little different with a burger high tea! This high tea is amazing with chips and halloumi bites and popcorn chicken on the bottom, delicious beef sliders on the middle tier and sweets on the top tier.

Kingston Foreshore &, Eyre St, Kingston | 11.30AM - 8:30PM Tues, Wed, Sun & 11:30 - 9:30PM Thur - Sat

Soul Cartel Farr Side

I absolutely loved the burger I had here, the beef was cooked just right, the onion rings added an extra crunch and the sauces all worked so well together. Since discovering this place, I have been back a few times, and am yet to be disappointed.

6 Farr Pl, Isaacs | 8am - 8pm Wed, Thur, Sun & 8am - 9pm Fri - Sat

BurgerHero

When I heard that BurgerHero was opening again, and they had the Cheeze-gazsm burger, I was intrigued and wanted to go and try out the place to see if the burger was any good. The burger includes a double beef patty, a fried cheese patty, American cheese, mac&cheese, pickles, onion and chipotle sauce. It was super cheesy and delicious, but it defeated me, and I had to take the rest of it home.

31 Mort St, Braddon | 1:30 AM 2:30 PM & 5:00 09:00 PM

Momoda

The food at Momoda is pretty good, but the little duck buns are great! I love how light and fluffy the buns are, while the duck is also delicious. It's the perfect fusion burger!

Melbourne Building Northbourne Ave | 12PM - 2:30PM & 5PM - Late Mon - Sat
