When it comes to choosing a breakfast spot, it can sometimes take a half an hour to make a decision. By then, you are feeling hangry and you end up going back to the same place you always go instead of trying somewhere new.

This stops now! I've compiled my top three breakfast spots in the city...how many are on your list? Next time you go into the city for an early morning stroll or a browse through the shops, make some time for breakfast. So park your car, and get out and explore our wonderful city.

Secret Garden Café, Murray Street
For a true garden experience in the city, you have to visit the Secret Garden Café. Sit outside and forget where you are! The menu has quite a few options for egg related breakfasts as well as a variety of tasty toasts. Breakfast served until 11:00am. Read more here .

Etro Café, King Street
Etro serves an all-day menu which I love. This means if you get side tracked and don't get breakfast before 11am, you can catch a late one here!

On my visit here, I had what I can only describe as a breakfast of champions, the Potato Cake. A breakfast will cost less that $20. Read more here

Little Bird Café, Lake Street
Little Bird Café seems to be busier every time I go there. Maybe it's the range of healthy options or the great coffee you are guaranteed on every visit.

There is quite a lot of indoor seating at Little Bird so get there early over the winter months as the tables will be snapped up. I recommend the coffee! Read more here .
