You asked for it and here it is the Top Brekkie Spots around South Brisbane, hope you enjoy:

1. Cambridge Lane Espresso

Where: 3-61 Cambridge Pde, Manly
Details: This laneway café is off the main strip at Manly in a quaint space with a delicious thought out breakfast menu and your 4-legged furry buddy can come along too! Pair up your coffee with the smoked bacon, haloumi, rocket and tomato relish on sourdough for the ultimate start to your day and it just got renovated too- ah the smell of fresh paint with bacon… Click here for website.

2. Frenchies Café
Where: Bay Terrace, Wynnum
Details: Another pet-friendly breakfast café with drinking bowls and special treats for your furry loved ones and for the human menu, which continues the "doggy" theme, try the soft bun piled with steak, bacon, cheese, tomato and lettuce to start your morning. Click here for website.

3. Café Arabica
Where: 1/ 187 Middle St, Cleveland
Details: Hidden away in a shopping centre in Cleveland, this café is a must try for a very fulfilling breakfast. Try the Monster Breakfast which includes 2 eggs, sausage, bacon, hash brown, tomato, baked beans, mushrooms and toast and wash this monster of a brekkie down with a freshly brewed coffee... it will certainly wake you up! Where: 115 Bloomfield St, Cleveland or/and 1/ 165-169 Broadwater Terrace, Redland Bay
Details: For something a little exotic, start your morning with the Arabian Morning Platter for 1. It will certainly hit that spot with a platter of cold meats, cheese spreads, olives, za'atar, cucumber and tomato slices served with Lebanese or Turkish bread or maybe try the Breakfast Stack which includes sautéed baby spinach, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and grilled asparagus served with poached egg and a scatter of their own feta cheese and Turkish bread. Details: Try the Baked Smoked Salmon & Avocado served with asparagus, potato rosti, spinach, hollandaise and lemon & dill to start your day or the Savoury Mince for something different which comes with bacon, parmesan, tomatoes and toast.

6. Café Mila
Where: 12- 685 Old Cleveland Rd East, Wellington Point
Details: If you are having a healthy day, then start that day with the Fitness Breakfast which includes poached eggs, avocado, spinach, grilled tomato, halloumi served on stone-baked sourdough bread, or if you want to be naughty then the Mega Breakfast is a must try with 3 eggs, extra bacon, hash brown, grilled tomato, avocado, mushrooms and toast and for extra cheekiness add the Chorizo for $4! Details: As their motto goes 'entice the taste buds and nourish the soul' and they certainly have done that here. For something different try the hearty Breakfast Pie which includes slow-braised beef & mince, with bacon, potatoes, poached eggs, wild rocket and crispy flatbread and the Canadian Pancakes are a must try; they are served with bacon, maple syrup, cinnamon butter and vanilla bean ice-cream. Details: Hence the name, you certainly do refuel with the Hot Smoked Salmon served with sweet potato & leek hash, spinach, fried egg and paleo bread or the Chorizo Hot Dog. which is served on soft brioche bread, cherry tomatoes, fried egg and smoky BBQ sauce is a must try to really "fuel" up! Why "Top Brekkie Spots - South Brisbane"? None of those places are even close to South Brisbane. Maybe "Top Brekkie Spots - Bay Suburbs" would be better?

Would love to see a lot more photos. I'm drawn to places with views and lovely outdoor places to sit. I would rather look at the photos of the location than read about it. Perhaps next time you could include more photos of the cafe - thanks :)
