This August, the Inner West will be showcasing events to suit all ages, budgets and interests.

The list below features free & ticketed events across the Inner West with events including festivals, music, concerts, theatre, family-friendly, pet-friendly and more.

1. EDGE Sydenham
When: Friday, 2-10 August 2019: 10am-10pm
Where: Midjuburi Precinct, Sydenham
Cost: Free
Details: This free family-friendly event will invite you to enter the world of the dark and daring with entertainment, creative trails, guided tours, exhibitions, installations, street art, underground events, live music, outrageous parties, electronic wonderland of movement, entertainment, activities and more. 2. Hugh Jackman -The Man. The Music. The Show.
When: Friday, 2-7 August 2019: From 8pm
Where: Qudos Bank Arena, Cnr Edwin Flack Ave & Olympic Boulevard, Sydney Olympic Park
Cost: Tickets range from $57.10-$699pp
Details: Academy Award-nominated, Golden Globe, Grammy and Tony Award-winning performer, High Jackman, will be bringing his The Man. The Music. The Show. World Tour to Australia this August. Accompanied by a live orchestra, the tour will see Jackman perform hit songs from his Broadway and film projects including Les Miserables and of course The Greatest Showman. 3. Sydney Dog Lovers Show
When: Saturday, 3 & 4 August 2019: 9:30am-5pm
Where: Sydney Showground, 1 Showground Rd, Sydney Olympic Park
Cost: Adults: $35pp, Pensioner: $20pp, Children (5-15yrs): $17pp & Family (2 adults 2 Kids): $95 per family.

4. Trains in the Park
When: Sunday, 4 August 2019: 1pm-4pm
Where: Leichhardt Park, Cnr Cambridge & Kent Streets, Leichhardt

5. Painting Large Landscapes

6. National Tree Day
When: Sunday, 4 August 2019: 10am-12pm
Where: Tempe Recreation Reserve, Holbeach Ave, Tempe
Cost: Free
Details: Tempe Reserve has been extensively restored including many areas of native vegetation. The site was a shale quarry in the 1920s and a greyhound racing track in the 1970s and today it is a thriving wetland. 7. NSW Swifts v Melbourne Vixens
When: Saturday, 10 August 2019: 7pm-9pm
Where: Quaycentre, Olympic Boulevard, Sydney Olympic Park

9. Dynasty 40th Anniversary: Kissteria

10. Snow Patrol- Live & Acoustic

15. GOT7- Keep Spinning World Tour

16. Blockbuster Super Netball Double Header

Details: The 2019 Suncorp Super Netball regular season finishes with a bang with Giants Netball hosting an East v West clash against West Coast Fever while the NSW Swifts will face an old foe the Queensland Firebirds. 19. A Night with Hugo Race
