This August be entertained with the list below of free & ticketed events for all to enjoy.

Events include festivals, fairs, concerts, theatre, comedy, family-friendly, workshops, musicals and more.

1. Les Meserables Musical
When: Friday, 26 July 2019-3 August 2019 :7pm-10pm & 2pm-5pm
Where: Scotch College, Carruth Rd, Torrens Park
Cost: Adults: $40pp, Concession: $20pp & Children: $20pp
Details: This musical is based on the epic novel by Victor Hugo. Set in 9th century France, a man named Jean Valjean breaks parole after serving many years of unjust imprisonment. Inspector Javert, who believes people can never change their ways, tries to track Valijean down.Click here for website.

2. Nostalgia Night Remembering Doris
When: Friday, 2 August 2019: 7:00pm 10:30pm
Where:Capri Theatre, 141 Goodwood Road, Goodwood

3. Top Dog Film Festival

4. Exhibition on Screen- Young Picasso
When: Sunday, 4 August 2019: 4pm-5:30pm
Where: Capri Theatre, 141 Goodwood Rd, Goodwood
Cost: $20pp
Details: This film takes us back to the beginning of the legendary artist's career and explains how Picasso acquired his art. It focuses on two periods of his work - his Blue Period and Rose Period and also highlights the creation of his painting Les Demoiselles d'Avignon. Click here for website.

5. Play School Live- Humpty's Showtime

Where: Norwood Concert Hall, 175 The Parade, Norwood

6. Hugh Jackman- The Man. The Music. The Show
When: Saturday, 10-27 August 2019
Where: Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Port Rd, Hindmarsh

Details: Academy Award nominated, Golden Globe, Grammy and Tony Award-winning performer, Hugh Jackman, is bringing his 'The Man. The Music. The Show' World Tour to Australia this August. He will be accompanied by a live orchestra, as Jackman performs hit songs from Broadway and film projects including 'Les Miserables' and of course 'The Greatest Showman'. Click here for website.

7. SA Variety Bash- Mawson to Murray
When: Saturday, 10-17 August 2019: From 7am
Where: From Mawson Lakes to Murray Bridge- see website
Cost: Fundraising event
Details: This motoring event supports kids in need on the road and also focuses on both raising money during the lead up and throughout the event. Entrants will be taken to numerous spectacular tracks, including many private beautiful countryside properties.

8. Indoor Plant Warehouse Sale
When: Saturday, 10 & 11 August 2019: 8am-2pm
Where: Queen's Theatre, Cnr Playhouse Lane & Gilles Arcade, Adelaide

Details: There will be more than 150 different species for sale including fiddle leaf figs, monster, bird of paradise, devil's ivy, a whole heap of ferns, plus more. 9. Drop-in Meditation Class

12. The Big Bike Film Night

14. Royal Adelaide Show
