There comes that moment when you want to have quality fun together with your family and one of the things that you can consider doing is visiting an amusement park. There are quite a number of amusement parks in the USA, some of the main ones include
1. Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio

This is popularly considered as the Roller Coaster Capital of the World based on the fact that it has roller coasters that have 180 degrees drop and go 120 mph! In addition to that, there are several thrill rides, live entertainment and shows as well as drinking and eating places. The fees charged for entry varies depending on age. Groups of more than fifteen people are offered special discounts on rides as well as food packages.
This is one of the most exciting parks in the USA. It offers over 80 different attractions and rides to families. It is in fact the biggest water park amusement in this part of the States, and features Diamondback Roller Coaster which goes up to 80mph. You will also find the Vortex, as well as Windseeker thrill rides and Beast. Kids will be entertained by Planet Snoopy for the little kids.
3. Walt Disney world Magic Kingdom, Orlando, Florida
At Walt Disney you will get six different magical lands, plenty of rides that cater for all ages, characters from Disney movies and books, Tomorrow Land, Adventure Land attractions, Fantasy Land and Main Street. Other events at this amusement park include fireworks, parades, food and drinks and more.
It is rated as one of the brilliant family parks. When you are here, the Apocalypse roller that drops 52 mph coaster and the popular Batman the Ride roller coaster mark the beginning of fun. You also experience live entertainment. Food, drink and souvenirs are not things anyone should worry about once you make it to this park. There are also special events like Freight Fest and Holiday in the Park.
5. Hershey park, Hershey, Pennsylvania

This is a park that is owned by Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, with the aim of preserving the legacy of Milton S. Hershey. Single people, couples and families find the ultimate fun here. Hershey Park in the Dark, rollercoasters and water ride mark are the most popular activities in this park.
6. Busch Garden Williamsburg Virginia

There is something for everyone at this amusement park; talk of entertainment, rides, picturesque to look at and animal encounters all in one Busch Garden park. It's high ratings have been confirmed by the fact that it has been voted as the most beautiful theme park in the world for the past 23 years. Food and Wine Festival, Christmas Town and Halloween celebrations which are all annual events are hosted in this park.
7. Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

This is an amusement park named after Country music legend Dolly Pardo. It's on 150 acres of land mass full of fun in terms of rides, shows and demonstrations and other major attractions.
8. LEGOLAND Carlsbad, California

This is one of the easiest parks to access especially if you live near San Diego. It has over 60 rides, attractions and many entertaining shows. The LEGOLAND Water Park makes it even better.
Spending some time in one of these amusement parks in the United States can be quite refreshing and gives you the feeling of wanting to come back more frequently.
