Round 2 - Sunday 13 March 4pm - Sharks v Dragons at Shark Park, Cronulla

The local derby always has a great atmosphere as the fiercely protective residents of the Shire 'known as 'God's country' to the locals, churn with frustration as their stadium is invaded with a sea of red and white, the marching Red V Dragons from the suburbs of St George, including Kogarah, Rockdale and Hurstville. The Sharks' captain, Paul Gallen, will be an irritated spectator, forced to the bench after a knee injury against the Cowboys last weekend.

Round 3 - Sunday 20 March 4pm – Dragons v Rabbitohs at the SCG, Moore Park

Only a handful of matches are played at the SCG. The atmosphere is unique as fans are so close to the action. Two of the NRL's oldest clubs (before the St George-Illawarra merger) have a rivalry built on long winning streaks featuring teams of immortal players. After the Rabbitohs return to the NRL and their glorious Premiership win in 2014, they will enter the historic ground as favourites. The Dragons are desperate for Benji Marshall, Gareth Widdop to breath fire with Russell Packer, Josh Dugan and Jason Nightingale to threaten Russell Crowe's gladiators hold on the top 8.

Round 4 - Friday 25 March 25 (Good Friday) 4pm – Rabbitohs v Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium, Homebush

This home game for both teams always has a boisterous atmosphere as the screams and cheers of the Royal Easter Show wash over the ground, drawing in fans carrying showbags and fairy floss to watch an exhilarating game of NRL featuring two of the most exciting teams, destined to reach the final series. Watch for the British Bulldog, James Graham, to welcome the Rabbits' Sam Burgess back to the NRL with a bone-rattling tackle.

Round 5 - Sunday 3 April 2pm – Roosters v Warriors at Central Coast Stadium, Sydney

Last year's Dally-M fullback winner, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, faces his former club and a hostile reception as he bursts onto the field at Moore Park with the Warriors. He's joined by Issac Luke to attack a Roosters team trying to find form after losing Mitchell Pierce to suspension and enduring a humiliating loss against their traditional rivals, the South Sydney Rabbitohs in round 1. The early 2pm start is perfect for the drive to the Central Coast, giving families time to journey home for dinner after the game.

Round 7 - Thursday 14 April 7.50pm - Sea Eagles v Eels at Brookvale Oval in Manly

Kieran Foran returns to Brookie for the first time since leaving Manly after a frustrating 2015 costing Geoff Toovey, one of Manly's greatest, his coaching job. Kieran, excited to work with the coach Brad Arthur, has faced more challenges in his new club as salary cap issues and boardroom hijinx distract the team. Joined by another Manly defector, Anthony Watmough, they'll risk ruining an afternoon for the home-team's fans.
