Although the McLaren Vale is originally a wine region, there are also a few Microbreweries that are definitely worth a visit. Behind every great wine is also great beer. Why not spice up your wine tasting with these fabulous brewed beers in the region? Therefore, I present 3 of the top breweries in the McLaren Vale wine region, which I highly recommend you to visit on your next trip to this fantastic region of South Australia.

1. McLaren Vale Beer Company / Vale Inn

The McLaren Vale Beer Company was founded in 2008 with just one beer in their selection - the beloved VALE / ALE. Today, the enthusiastic team of a majority of South Aussies brew 4 core range beers, which are:

A flight of their four great beers can be tasted in their own inn, located in the former historic Salopian Inn in McLaren Vale. You pay $10 for the flight, but you get really a lot of beer for this price and it is worth the money. Moreover, this charming site offers a modern and relaxing kitchen with fabulous pizzas and other great plates of local products that harmonize perfectly with their beers.
