Wollongong hosts a range of entertaining and free events across Spring. Art, performances, workshops, and carnivals provide a range of options for friends and families to catch up and enjoy the great weather. Best of all, these events are near town, and they are all free.

1. Art in the Park

Wollongong Traditional Arts Society holds a monthly outdoor exhibition across Spring. Original artwork is sold with a percentage of proceeds going to charity, and entry is free. The first Spring event is on the 6th of October 2013, and locations vary.

2. Viva La Gong

This annual community arts festival celebrates creativity and cultural identity. Events include street parades, circus acts, live performances, workshops, markets, and an international food fair.
