Savour Tasmania celebrates Tasmania's world-class produce and beverages. Events in Hobart are held at Garagistes, Princes Wharf, and the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery.
Colin Fassnidge and gourmet farmer Matthew Evans will kick-off the festival with a celebration of the pig at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery on May the 29th. Several events will then feature the famous Belgian chef, Kobe Desramaults, who runs the Michelin-starred restaurant In de Wulf. There will also be a range of other events including the Tasmanian Red Wine Weekend and master classes for the state's chefs.
The Festival Voices includes performances, workshops, and choirs. Acts include Kate Ceberano and Christine Anu.
The festival offers a diverse range of concerts from national and international talent. The Festival Bonfire and Big Sing is a mid-winter tradition in Hobart. The finale concert is also a free and a great event for the family.
