Firstly, the Mount Barker Carols and Fireworks is always a winner. Returning to Keith Stephenson Park on Saturday the 3rd of December, the evening will feature family fun activities from 5pm with on-stage entertainment starting at 7pm. After securing a spot for the show, your children can enjoy a range of activities including face painting and rock climbing. Over a dozen artists will perform before fireworks conclude the celebrations at approximately 9:20pm. The Boomstars will also be presenting a special show for the kids. Entry is free.

Second would be the Balhannah/Oakbank Community Carols on Saturday the 26th of November. Held undercover in the Oakbank Area School hall, the event is set to bring some family fun your way once again with free rock climbing and face painting. Local vocal talent and the live band will then fill the atmosphere with some of your favourite Christmas carols and tunes from 6:30pm. You'll also have the opportunity to give towards the Christmas Bowl Appeal in a goodwill offering during the night.

And, last but not least, there's the carols event at the Nairne Primary School oval on Saturday the 17th of December. The gates open with light family entertainment at 5pm, and the Carols will finish about 8pm. You can expect an evening of entertainment from local performers as well as a variety of local food vendors. Although free, bookings are required and can be made online via their website.
