2: Delectable Food Festival, 16-29 July

This event is being hosted around the theme name of 'Food, Grow, Sounds' and sets out to celebrate from the 'ground' (what we grow), to the table', (what we eat). Positioning itself in and around the green spaces of Brisbane, the festival will locate itself in Southbank, the Botanical Gardens and Post Office Square. Expect to see demonstrations, entertainment and seminars, representing local produce, producers, local and national chefs.

Offering a combination of free and ticketed events. As a guide, ticketed range is from $30 - $45 (sound series), with some events over $50.
All event information available on the website and full event PDF program is available here.

3: Regional Flavours, Food and Wine Festival, 21 - 22 July

This year will be the fourth for this event held in Brisbane. Themed and presented around the question "What does our food say about us?". So if you would like to know more about food and how it affects us, come along on these dates to the Southbank Parklands. Expect to explore a little, celebrate a little, and learn a little about healthy lifestyles, while being able to taste some yummy foods.

Learn how to plant your own pizza, pot up your herbs, put together deluxe lunchboxes, hunt out your beer, make gardens for small spaces and balconies and lots more. Check out the event program here.

And again, this lifestyle event is based around promoting local Queensland produce and representing the 'best' food and wine producers from regions including South Burnett, Granite Belt and Lockyer Valley. View website for all information.
