1. Warwick Grove Pop Up Shops
Where: Warwick Grove Shopping Centre
When: Saturday 1st July and Sunday 2nd July

The Local & General Markets are having a special Pop Up inside the Warwick Grove Shopping Centre centre court. Running until 4pm each day of the weekend, the stalls will feature only beautiful handmade goods from WA's best artisans and designers.

2. Gymnastics Come'n'Try Day
Where: State Gymnastics Centre at 99 Loftus Street, Leederville.
When: Tuesday 4th July, 1 to 2.30pm

For children aged three to ten, this free introductory workshop is a great opportunity to learn all there is to know about gymnastics, with games and activities run by qualified coaches and promising to be a fun and interesting afternoon. Bookings essential.

3. Claremont Community Hub School Holiday Activities
Where: Claremont Community Hub
When: July 4th to 13th

The Claremont Community Library will be hosting a number of free events in the July school holidays, such as Lego inspired stop motion and robotics, Knitterbugs and Patchwork Quilting. Bookings essential.

4. Brookfield Winter Lights Festival
Where: Brookfield Place Perth
When: Wednesday 19th July to Saturday 29th July

Now in its fifth year, the Brookfield Winter Lights Festival is back, and transforming Brookfield Place with spectacular light installations and projections as well as a range of exhibitions and performances. See heritage buildings on St Georges Terrace ablaze in colour, check out the stunning light totem and interact with the light trees that respond when you walk past.

5. Stitched and Bound
Where: Zig Zag Gallery, Kalamunda
When: July 14th to 30th

Come and see quilting as you have never seen it before with the top contemporary and innovative West Australian quilters presenting this unique exhibition. Covering a range of styles and themes, stitched and bound is quilting as art in its most extreme and electrifying form.

6. Fremantle's Chocolate Market
Where: Esplanade Hotel, corner Marine Tce and Essex St, Fremantle
When: Saturday July 15th 10am to 4pm

Anything with the words 'free' and 'chocolate' in it must be good, right? This amazing new market is a joyous celebration of all things chocolate with free entry and plenty of amazing market stalls, free tastings, kids activities plus bars and restaurants selling special chocolate inspired dishes.

7. Farmers Market Grand Opening
Where: ECU Village Mt Lawley
When: Sunday July 16th 9am to 12noon

Everyone is welcome to the grand opening on the newest Farmers' Markets, which will be held at ECU Village in Mt Lawley. With more than 60 stalls selling a variety of fresh and epicurian produce, international food trucks, plants and flowers, cupcakes, coffee and chocolate and so much more.

8. City of Perth Winter Arts Season

When: throughout July
With over 150 events including a free roller-rink, art installations, stories, free Friday fitness sessions, snow falls and more the Winter Arts Season will delight and amaze. There are also plenty of paid events including dining events at more than 30 of Perth's top restaurants.

9. Sneaker Exhibition @ Art Gallery
Where: Art Gallery of WA, Northbridge
When: throughout July

The Rise of Sneaker Culture is a fun exhibition now on at the Art Gallery of WA with over 150 pairs of iconic sneakers from big-name brands, private collectors, artistic collaborations and historical collections, this exhibition will appeal to everyone.

10. Family Fun Day at Joondalup
Where: Joondalup Resort, Clydebank Cres
When: Sunday 30th July from 10am to 3pm

Run by the MiLi Events team, this family fun day will be held indoors to keep everyone dry and happy and boasts more than 80 market stalls, bars, golf, food stalls and a special 'big top' for the kids full of craft, soft play, balloon, face painting and more.
