Christmas is fast approaching and if you don't feel like cooking this year (who does?), then why not take a scroll down this list of Christmas Day Lunch Venues around Canberra! It is a great way to get a group of friends and family together for some festive cheer, without having to clean up afterwards. If you are looking for something more budget-friendly, then check out what's happening at your local club. If you would like something a bit more glam, there are many options for you to choose from at the city's fine restaurants.

As we near the end of November, many places have already sold out - but keep reading for 10 venues where you can still have some festive cheer on Christmas Day in 2024. You never know, it may become a new annual tradition!



1/ Belconnen Labor Club will be having a Christmas Buffet with seafood, roast meats, delicious sides and yummy Christmas desserts! The cost is $130 per adult, $70 for children/ teens (aged 7 - 16) and children under 7 are free! Book at the club reception or call 6251 5522. See here for details.

2/ Rydges in Forrest will be having a family celebration with a Christmas Day Lunch Buffet at The George Bar & Grill. There will be seafood, roasted meats, desserts and a 3-hour beverage package. 3/ Canberra Southern Cross Clubs have Christmas Lunch events at Tuggeranong, Woden and Jamison, with 3-course meals and buffets, depending on the location. If you have kids, they also have a Kids Christmas Party on 13th December at Henry's in Woden with Santa, crafts and festive fun! 4/ Capitol Bar & Grill will be having a Christmas Day Feast with oysters, Balmain bugs, ham, turkey, desserts and much more! The cost is $260 per adult, $160 per teen (aged 13-17), $70 for children (aged 5-12). This venue is always a popular option with locals and visitors staying at the hotel, so book in early!
