An American contemporary writer, Eleanor Marie Robertson has produced over 200 romance novels, many of which have instantly become best-sellers. The author's favorite pen-name is Nora Roberts, but you can enjoy the same style and more exciting stories signed as J.D. Robb, Jill March, Sarah Hardesty.



For those who are still unfamiliar with Nora Roberts' books , here is a personal top 10:

1. Vision in White

The first book of the Bride's Quartet, 'Vision in White' features Mac Eliot, a photographer for a wedding planning business owned by her and her three best friends. Mac, who had a sad childhood, is dedicated to putting other people's happy memories on film. As the action develops, we learn more details about her fling with Carter Maguire, a high school English teacher, and how she learns to create happy memories for herself too.

2. Dance upon the Air

After Nell Channing leaves her abusive husband, she is on the run until she finally settles down on Three Sister's Island. Here she assumes a fake identity and finds work as a cook at the local café. She falls in love with the island's sheriff, but even when feelings get deeper, she still does not feel comfortable revealing her true identity. In the end, she finds out that the island is cursed, and the spell can only be broken by descendants of the three witches for whom the island is named, and decides to invest her efforts into saving the island.

3. Bed of Roses

The second book in the Bride's Quartet focuses on Emma, a florist who is surrounded by men, but hasn't yet found the right one. She slowly realizes that Jack Cooke, an architect and close friend, is her soul mate. Will she follow her heart's call?

4. Savor the Moment

The third book of the Bride's Quartet evolves around Laurel McBane, a culinary artist who makes cakes for Vows Wedding Planning Company. Laurel has had a crush on Parker's older brother, an Ivy League lawyer named Delaney, for years. She kisses him in a moment of passion, but worries he's out of her league.

5. Montana Sky

Jack Mercy's three daughters from three different marriages didn't know about each other until Jack died, leaving them a ranch worth $20 million. The women are faced with a challenge; in order to inherit, they must put their bitterness aside and live together on the ranch for a year.

6. Heaven and Earth

The second book in the 'Three Sisters Island' trilogy is about the sheriff's deputy, Ripley Todd, who has scary and confusing powers that she can't control. A researcher, MacAllister Brooke, who is investigating the witchcraft rumors of Three Sisters Island becomes fascinated by her struggle and decides to help her accept them. In the meantime, the danger continues to threaten the island.

7. Happy Ever After

The fourth book in the Bride's Quartet tells the story of Parker Brown, who converted the quartet's childhood game of 'Wedding Day' into a thriving business. She is the "frontman" of the company and puts everything together, making brides' dreams come true. Parker is used to taking risks, but when she gets involved with a mechanic, Malcom Kavanaugh, she takes a huge plunge into the unknown.

8. Born in Fire

Maggie is a reclusive glassmaker in Ireland and the eldest of the Concannon sisters. Though she produces fragile art, she is an independent woman with a volatile temper. Dublin gallery owner, Rogan Sweeney, sees how Maggie puts her heart into her art, and wants to help her career. They have an immediate, intense attraction and she is slowly healed by love.

9. Face the Fire

The final installment of the Three Sisters Island trilogy tells the story of Mia Devlin, whose lover, Sam Logan walked out on her years before. After becoming determined to live without love, Sam returns to the Island as the new owner of its only hotel. He is confused that Mia won't take him back and refuses to admit that she still cares for him. However, she'll need his help to break the ancient curse that plagues the island.

10. Angels Fall

Reece Gilmore is the only survivor of a brutal crime. She comes to Angel's Fist, running from haunting panic attacks and nightmares. She finds herself attracted to Brody, a local writer, but doesn't want to stay in the small town. Hiking in the mountains, she witnesses a murder, but when she tells the authorities no one believes her but Brody, and it seems that the murderer is after her too.
