Whether you're into the thrill of the rides, embracing the moment within the photography exhibit, immersing yourself in the nostalgia of leathercrafts and floriculture, or sampling the tasty treats from local producers and beyond, the annual show is an event not to be missed.
Cooking demonstrations by Paul West, best known for the television show River Cottage Australia, as well as gardening workshops with Costa Georgiadis from Gardening Australia, will make a return. This year will also see the inclusion of a free sports expo.
Pony rides are one of the many child-friendly activities available
The show will be open from 9am - 9pm daily from Thursday 28th - Saturday 30th March at the Toowoomba Showgrounds, Glenvale Road. The gazetted show holiday for Toowoomba locals is Thursday 28th.
Tickets start as low as $5, however, if you love the rides as much as I do, I recommend the Sideshow Alley Super Saver deal which provides a single entry plus 10 sideshow rides for only $50! The package provides a $70 saving but is for a limited time only. Pre-purchase your tickets online and you could also be in the running to win a $500 Heritage bank gift card.
