Fri 19 Nov 2021 - Sun 21 Nov 2021

From 19 to 21 November 2021, experience a huge variety of gospel music in the Toowoomba Gospel Festival . Upcoming live bands include Yanto, the Alan Molen Band, Leonards African Childrens' Choir, the Congolese Choir and Belinda Tingel. As you can see, there will be a multicultural flavour to the event. The main aim stated for the festival is 'to share the love of Jesus and feature our love for Toowoomba'.

Locations are Queens Park, the CBD, Westridge Shopping Centre and the Garden Green at Grand Central Shopping Centre. The festival will also cater to the needs of children with family fun. Queens Park has the big 'Tent of Promise'. A 'visual Bible' on a thirty-foot canvas will remain on display for the whole week. Other tents are Information, first aid and Aussie Grown Radio, Across the Nation, 'grassroots to the charts'. The big tent has seating for two thousand.

Refreshments are the Mobile Coffee van, Dole soft serve ice cream ($4 small), Romany's Hungarian Chimney (sweet or savoury cones for $10), Poffertjes Dutch pancakes ($7), and the 2nd Shot mobile cafe. 2nd Shot is a coffee and snack van with a difference in that proprietor Nat employs (part-time) the homeless and those coming out of prison. They are trained on the job and can go on to restart their life in cafe employment. 2nd Shot's prices are very reasonable with muffins and brownies for $4, smoothies $7 and coffee from $3 - $5. For inquiries contact Nat on [email protected] or 0437 454 352.

Visitors to the Toowoomba Gospel Festival can make donations to the artists at several spots around the Queens Park site.

The visual Bible or 'Panoramic Visual of God's Plan of Salvation' is a beautiful artwork extravaganza depicting on three long walls, the story of redemption from Genesis to Revelation. It's the brainchild of Barry and Sandra Cunnington who had the idea in 1998. The project involved a lot of different artists.

Christian Radio 92.9FM will fill in between live music. Check out concert updates on Facebook .

The atmosphere of Christmas coupled with the Toowoomba Gospel Festival will make Toowoomba the place to be in the Darling Downs over this exciting weekend.
