The City of Toowoomba in Queensland will be in full bloom as one of Australia's biggest and brightest flora festivals will inspire and delight gardeners from 13 September to 7 October 2024.



The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers is back with full blooms of delightful flowers to fill your hearts with happiness and joy. This year's carnival marks a special and significant milestone in history as it turns 75 and is sure to continue its tradition of inspiring and overjoying viewers with the beauty of flowers.

One of the central public events of the carnival is the free Grand Parade on Saturday 21 September 2024 from 10 am to 12 noon with a procession of floral floats bursting with colour down the main streets of Toowoomba. Be part of the crowd to line the street and cheer at the marvel of fresh flowers as they and their growers drive through on floats.



The floats and walking groups follow a path along Herries Street, turn right into Ruthven Street, right into Margaret Street, left onto Hume Street and finish on Godsall Street Oval on the corner of Hume and Godsall Streets.

Over the four weekends of the carnival, you can also visit free display gardens in parks including Queen's Park, Laurel Bank Park, Spring Bluff Railway Station and more.

The petals and pups events welcome the four leggeds to many carnival parks and activities to ensure the whole family is included.

Toowoomba is located on the Darling Downs in South East Queensland and is 1 hour 40 minutes from Brisbane via the Warrego Highway and 3 hours 20 minutes inland from Noosa on the Sunshine Coast.
