Toorak Village are calling out for entries for their 2022 Sculpture Exhibition. Have your entries in by 1 Feb 2022. All sculpture submissions must be original, made in Australia and recent (within last 2 years). The exhibition is curated by Malcolm Thomson and presented by the Toorak Traders with up to $20,000 worth of cash non-acquisitive prizes judged and awarded to 4 artists. As you can see from the poster above, the exhibition will take place from 1 May to 12 June 2022. Seventy plus small to medium sized contemporary sculptures are required for exhibition in 70 plus Toorak shop windows and 2-3 extremely robust exterior sculptures to be bolted to footpaths along Toorak Road. 2022 will be the 20th year since its conception that linked the arts with business to form a unique cultural experience. Be sure to visit the exhibition in May and June. The 2022 contemporary sculptures will compliment the 11 permanent sculptures bought by the Toorak Village businesses from previous shows. A free event, catalogues will be available closer to time from any of the shops. All sculptures will be for sale and easily bought from Blooms the Chemist, 459 Toorak Rd, right at the pedestrian lights.
