[ADVERT]This restaurant is about 10 kms north of the city in a suburb called Niddrie. It is on the 59 tram line if you are coming by public transport.

It is open mainly at night but they some lunchtimes as well and they do take EFTPOS. They serve all sorts of Japanese food (unfortunately with added MSG).

It has been some time since I visited. The restaurant looks clean at the front but from the back, it is not so clean. I went to the bathroom and found stacks of boxes stacked up near the kitchen.

On to the food. I went here with a friend at dinnertime and had the $33 banquet. We didn't really like it for various reasons; one being that the dishes had way too much MSG and the other being that the sauces for the beef teriyaki and the yakisoba were the wrong ones. Also whilst the fish was fresh for the sushi, the rice used was Australian rice and not the sushi rice.

In short: I'd say don't go there unless you want to be fooled or love dishes with MSG in it.
