In 2008, the last car rolled off the Mitsubishi manufacturing line at Tonsley. A decade later, the site has been transformed into Tonsley, Australia's most awarded innovation district.
On Sunday 24th March, Tonsley is opening its doors to the public to showcase its amazing open space and the innovative businesses and organisations housed within this once-fenced-off 61-hectare site.
This free family-friendly event, run in partnership with Science Alive!, invites members of the public to see, hear and touch the innovations and technologies currently being developed or utilised at Tonsley.
Held from 10am to 4pm in the iconic Main Assembly Building, known as the MAB, Tonsley Open Day will bring future technologies into your hands.
Come along with the whole family and enjoy hours of fun, enjoyment and learning:
Science Alive! also offers hands-on fun that is interactive, dynamic, fun, and educational for all ages:
All are welcome to come along and learn about and celebrate some remarkable South Australian people, businesses, technologies and innovations. Plus special guest on the day is none other than South Australia's own Cosi!
