Newly opened in Moridalloc,
Tommy Ruff Fish Bar, is afish and chip shop with a difference. Dine in or take away, this friendly vibrant Cafe/Restaurant/Bar is great for casual dinning, family groups, or a girl's night out. There is plenty of laughter to be heard, and the staff are approachable and ready for a quick chat about the food or the weather.
There is something for everyone on the menu. For those who require a bit more sophistication there is the Seafood Chowder, but I couldn't go past the Tackle box for 2. It is a share plate for 2 with fish & chips, calamari rings, prawns and tartare sauce - a kid at heart, I really enjoyed this.

This is no ordinary fish & chip shop; not only can you dine in, but you can also order alcohol. If you are partial to Ginger Beer, you must try the
Brookvale Union Ginger Beer. At $12.00 a bottle it seemed expensive but the bottle contained more that 2 glasses and the flavour was fantastic, so it was worth the indulgence.

Comments on the menu The menu is based around seafood, and the specials board is well worth a look - it tended to be a little more expensive than the menu, but the offerings were very tempting. Main meals were around $16.00 to $30.00 from the menu.
