Tommerups Dairy Farm (
Kerry Road, Kerry) is a sixth generation working dairy farm. The 200 acre farm is home to dairy cattle as well as sheep, chickens, goats and ducks. Guests are invited to tour the farm for an hour, an afternoon or a weekend, with a range of activities and programs available to families.
Get up close with the animals on the farm with the Animal Feeding experience, where participants can pet and feed these creatures. The cost is $45.00 per family and the experience lasts for approximately an hour and a half.
Ever wanted to milk a cow? You can with the Dairy and Milking package. Farmers show how milk is produced for
Norco Co-operative and give guests the opportunity to lend a hand. This experience is $50.00 per family and lasts for approximately 2 hours.
If you can't decide between the two, try the Animal Feeding and Milking activity for $80.00 per family.
During the school holidays, families can spend an afternoon or a weekend on the farm. With the Down on the Farm package, visitors join in with farming chores like building a fence or moving irrigators. When the work is done, everyone enjoys a picnic lunch by the river. This package starts at $100 per family.
Spend the weekend caring for farm animals, milking cows, bushwalking, fishing and sleeping under the stars. Farm Camping is $35 per person for a one night stay and $50 per person for a two night stay.
Bookings are essential for all experiences and can be made via the website.
