Tom Kline. I came across this singer / songwriter about a year ago and have been crushing on his music ever since. His sound reminds me of a male version of
Regina Spektor; with lyrics that are thoughtful, music which is sparse yet engaging and an overall experience that stays with you.
He's touring the east coast of Australia, releasing the four-track EP
Vintage Loneliness.
Guns & Dolls, released as the debut single and included in the EP, has been well received, but my favourite track is Vintage Loneliness, a lament about life being that depressed that even one's shadow has broken up with them.
