is a pleasant and cosy Japanese grill and hotpot restaurant situated inside Stockland Wendouree shopping centre. We went there for a family lunch out one Saturday afternoon and enjoyed the atmosphere. It seems a pleasant restaurant with accommodating and friendly staff.

One of our family members prefers not to eat meat so after some discussion with our waiter, we found a curry dish that the kitchen staff would be happy to do in a vegetarian version. (I took the photo after my family member took a tempura vegetable piece, so that wasn't included.)

We also got some tempura vegetables, tempura fried tofu, and a Japanese spring roll to share. The spring roll had ham, seafood stick and avocado instead of minced meat and cabbage as in Chinese spring rolls. We all thought it was a nice idea.

For my main dish I got a port katsu – crumbed, fried pork pieces in a katsu curry with roasted carrot and potato cubes served with a salad. I was happy with the serving - it was good value and with the roast veggies and salad more healthy than typical katsu curries I've had.

Because the restaurant is set inside its own area of the shopping centre it's not loud and busy like a food court place. At the time we went we found the service fast and there was not too much wait for the food to arrive.
