This anticipated live music event will take place on Sunday 27th March 2016 at Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance. Doors open at 8pm with the concert at 10.30pm.
Following in the footsteps of Ricky Martin, Toke D Keda's Eddie Blazquez has sold more than 1 million albums and performed sold-out shows around the world.
While in Melbourne, the multi-talented Blazquez will undertake several artistic pursuits in addition to the concert for Melbourne Latin Festival 2016. The award-winning director will film scenes for a music video ('Over & Over') and produce a documentary investigating Latin culture around the world.
"Australia was the logical choice for our world tour, not only to expand our reach, but to also support our message that Latin culture has literally gone around the world. … I want to tell the story of our culture, our music, our food and the impact it has had around the world. It's a legacy piece that's close to my heart" says Blazquez
Toke D Keda's Australian fan base is made up predominately of Latin dancers who love the smooth bachata beats Blazquez creates in collaboration with other talented artists from different cultures and styles.
The concert is a highlight of this year's Melbourne Latin Festival program and is expected to sell out - tickets are now on sale with a limited number of VIP tickets still available.
