Tofu-licious vegetarian cuisine
The Tofu Shop International is a small, hidden gem on Bridge road, Melbourne. This unassuming shop is composed of a simple glass counter where the food of the day is displayed, two walls with a counter top and comfortable bar stool seating, a drinks fridge and a shelf full of interesting goodies for sale.

The choose of foods was made much easier with their unique number system which advises the customer as to whether or not the dish includes onion, eggs, nuts, dairy and other foods that commonly cause issue for those who are intolerant. For my mother and I that includes onion.
We chose two tofu dishes one with a ginger and chilli flavouring and the other with miso and broccoli. We also chose a corn and wild rice dish, eggplant and zucchini, rice noodles and almonds, and a mint water. We further had a choice of tofu or yoghurt dip of which we chose the light tofu dip. The food was excellent! Light and tasty each with its own unique flavour. The sauce was also very tasty and silky smooth, which perfectly complimented our food.
