In The Toddler Cookbook, by Annabel Karmel, children are encouraged to get involved with the art of cooking, of course, with the supervision of an adult, especially parents.

The cookbook is not lengthy and has many photos.

In Summary

Lettuce boats
Cooked sliced chicken, canned corn, mayonnaise, lemon juice and bibb lettuce leaves.

Corn quesadilla
Small red onion, pepper, canned corn, cheddar cheese, olive oil, vinegar, honey tortillas and salsa.

Homemade lemonade
Sugar, hot water, lemons, chilled or sparkling water.

Author Annabel Karmel states that if you like cooking and you like having parties, why not do both? Invite a few friends and make some of your favourite recipes together.

In Opinion

The recipes above are what I personally chose to highlight. I think that they seem to be delicious, filling and frugal to prepare.

It so happens that all three recipes seem, to me, to be good for lunch.

Annabel frequently appears on radio and television as the UK's expert on children's nutritional needs. She has her own line of healthy foods for children in supermarkets. Obviously, we can trust her.

I give this cookbook a 5-star rating.
