On my recent trip to Nelson Bay with my 3 youngest girls, we ventured to . I would have to say I was a little sceptical at first, but I was pleasantly surprised!

Toboggan Hill park is located behind the Aquatic Centre in Nelson Bay, Port Stephens, which is about 1 hour north of Newcastle and 2.5 hours from Sydney.

The park is open 7 days a week 10 am to 5 pm - Summer and
Holidays and 10 am to 4 pm Wednesday to Sunday - Winter (April to September). Entry is $6 per person 8 years and above, $5 per child 4-7 years, and children under 3 are free. Your entry ticket includes 1 activity at the park. More detailed pricing information can be found here

As well as the titled toboggan ride, the park offers indoor rock climbing, mini golf, jumping castle, tractor train, giant maze, hot ice skating and more. Due to safety reasons, children under 8 must ride the toboggan with an adult.

I decided not to ride the toboggan, however, I was able to give my entry pass to my daughter and she was able to use both tickets for 2 activities.

The park is well laid out and there is a viewing area that is excellent for photos and video opportunities as the riders on the toboggans come down the hill.

My girls absolutely loved it, and since our visit they have constantly been asking when they can go back!
