Coinciding with the National Year of Reading 2012 program to promote and encourage reading, the Burnside Library in association with the Independent Theatre Inc. has organised a special evening to showcase the play To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee - adapted by Christopher Sergel.

This occasion will offer a wonderful opportunity for those who enjoy theatre and wish to learn more about theatre production to meet the Director and cast of To Kill a Mockingbird.

Many theatre goers will re-call how in 2007, Independent Theatre Inc. produced the play's Australian Premiere and the season was totally sold-out even after extra performances were provided. Now, due to public demand, the company has decided to produce again this truly outstanding theatre production.

When: Thursday, 19 July at 7.00pm.
Where: Burnside Library.

To Kill a Mockingbird will be performed at the Arts Theatre 53 Angas Street, Adelaide.

When: July 27, 28, August 1, 2, 3, 4 at & 7.30pm.
Matinees July 29 at 4.00pm and Aug. 4 at 6.30pm.
Early July 31 at 6.30pm.
