Shop here for top brands at bargain prices
TK Maxx is now open with big discounts on designer brands.
TK Maxx brings a new way to shop, offering big name brands, for bargain prices. With new stock arriving weekly, there's always a reason to pop in and discover something new.
All sorts of beauty products can be found at TK Maxx.
The brand is owned by TJX international which has over 3800 stores already in the USA, Canada, Britain and Europe. They have recently opened 35 stores in Australia, having taken over Trade Secret, rebranding them as TK Maxx.
Find designer threads for the fussiest of princesses.
TK Maxx buys retail merchandise from a possible 18,000 vendors in over 100 countries.* Items sourced could be overstocks from other retailers, cancelled orders (that were already produced) and occasionally end of clearance line stock from suppliers. Most stock is current with only a small amount of past season fashion. *Source TK Maxx Corporate Website.
What this means is they have more negotiating power to bring cheaper prices to the customer. Unlike an outlet store, they are not limited by the brands they stock or the goods they sell. It also means their floor space layout can change depending on what stock comes in.
Expect to see many designs in each size at TK Maxx.
TK Maxx offers a variety of styles from numerous brands such as (but certainly not limited to) Nautica, Calvin Klein, Bonds, Michael Kors, G-Star Raw, The Academy Brand, Brooksfield, French Connection, Ben Sherman.
You'll find men's and women's clothes, handbags, shoes, sportswear and health products, beauty products and skincare, homewares and toys. Pretty much whatever their buyers can get their hands on, at a bargain price.
There are plenty of bargains if you're prepared to sift through, such as these stylish photo frames.
How cheap is it really? I visited the Penrith store which still had plenty of Trade Secret stock, however many clothing items were at least 50% off the recommended retail price.
They had beauty gift packs containing body wash, bath salts etc which were half price and cheap but stylish photo frames at $9.95.
There were big discounts in the toy section with Barbie dolls from $9.95, a Superman figurine for $7.95 reduced from $14.95 and a set of Thomas the Tank Engine bath toys for $9.95 reduced from $19.95.
There's a great selection of discounted toys at TK Maxx.
There was a large selection of women's clothes including skirts, dresses, shirts, jackets, pajamas, sportswear and accessories like sunglasses with many items in the $20-$50 price range with some as cheap as $10, however, stock moves quickly and new stock arrives often so you really need to check in-store to find the current bargains of the week.
Plenty of cheap but quality toys can be found at TK Maxx.
Will I find the same stock from my favourite designer store at a discounted price? There's no guarantee what you'll find but it will be brand new and brand name gear. Stock arrives at head office weekly and is then distributed amongst the Australian stores. However it's not possible to order stock from one store to another store. They can hold items for same day purchase though.
The best way to find out what's available is to explore a store, sign up to their newsletter and follow their Instagram #TKMaxxFanFinds.
You can also find discounted suitcases at TK Maxx.
Being a little bit different to your usual department store makes shopping at TK Maxx unique. If you love hunting out a bargain, TK Maxx is your dream shopping experience. Step 1 - Choose your department e.g. Women's fashion, men's clothes, homewares etc Step 2 - Choose a category e.g. Shirts, underwear etc then find your size section. Step 3 - If you find something you like, in your size, buy it. Chances are it won't be there if you come back next week.
You can find cheap men's and women's shoes such as these Doc Marten's boots which were $100 off the suggested retail price.
For a first time visitor, it may seem a little bewildering with such a huge variety of stock from so many brands but it also makes shopping easier because everything is categorised into size.
They also offer gift cards which may be useful for the bargain shopaholic.
TK Maxx brings Australian consumers quality fashion at discounted prices, something the rest of the world has enjoyed for some time.
Expect racks of many styles giving you a large selection to choose from in the size you need.
