Titanic The Exhibition takes you on a journey of discovery. The tale of the Titanic has captivated people since 1912. On a silent dark night on the 15 April 1912, the luxurious Titanic collided with an iceberg during her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York City - all but a few perished.

Titanic The Exhibition is an exciting self-guided tour at the Byron Kennedy Hall, The Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park from Saturday 8 April until 30 June 2017.
Take a wander, imagine the grand interiors and learn about this historical tragedy. The tour will take you through a series of dramatic room recreations, displays of 100-year-old artefacts and several hands-on activities.
Titanic The Exhibition features over 375 artefacts taken directly from the pre-sinking Titanic and her nearly identical sister ship, Olympic. You will also be able to view some rare artefacts that rescued passengers held in their pockets as they escaped the sinking ship. Original props and set pieces from James Cameron's 1997 blockbuster film Titanic are also on display, including a recreation of the famous "Heart of the Ocean" diamond necklace.
The tour will excite all your senses. Travel back to 1912 to absorb the sights, sounds and smells of the most luxurious vessel of its time. Learn about the history of this famous ship from her conception and construction right through to her final disastrous day.
Each entry to the exhibition is completely unique, as every visitor will receive a Boarding Pass that contains the personal information of an original passenger. Visitors are encouraged to feel connected to the passengers' journey by learning about their background and life on board. The experience commences in the Memorial Gallery, where visitors are taken on their selected passenger's fate on the cold early morning of 15 April, 1912.
Everyone can relate to someone on Titanic and the story of her voyage still resonates all over the world," said Tom Zaller, President/CEO of Imagine Exhibitions Pte. Ltd. "This particular exhibition, that will appeal to all ages, immerses the visitor in the moving tale of Titanic's voyage at every part of her journey - allowing visitors to experience the sights, sounds and stories as if they were on the ship."
Titanic The Exhibition has been located in one of Australia's oldest and most beautiful exhibition buildings, The Byron Kennedy Hall, within The Entertainment Quarter, which is surrounded by great eateries for all the family.
Do you know if this is the same exhibition that held residency in Las Vegas for many years? It sounds a bit like it but that exhibition had an actual humungous piece of the hull on display. It was the most awesome thing I'd seen. Thanks for such comprehensive info on this new exhibition!
