Small changes, big impact

Like so many I know, I am constantly short on time. There just seem to be so many things to do! Here's a list of small ways to save big time .

1. Fill a spray bottle with distilled white vinegar, and then spray it on the inside of your toilet bowl.
Why it will make life easier: The vinegar will make your toilet bowl sparkle, as well as deodorising any unpleasant odours. Furthermore, vinegar will make it harder for the bowl to have any stains, meaning less time cleaning the bathroom every week.

2. Grab a backpack, fill it till it's almost heavy, and then vacuum your house.
Why it will make life easier: This simple trick actually accomplishes two major things in one go. You get a clean house, and you get free exercise, all at the same time. Around 30 minutes of vacuuming will burn over 100 calories, not to mention the toning your arm and thigh muscles will receive. Plus, your house will look amazing afterwards.

3. Bake a cake, then freeze it.
Why it will make life easier: As cake layers can be frozen for up to one month, having one in the freezer means you'll always have something ready next time someone drops by unannounced. For best use, simply thaw and reheat cake, make a pot of tea, and voilà, afternoon tea in an instant!

4. Draw a chalk line outside your house.
Why it will make life easier: If ants frequently like to come over uninvited, then a chalk line will keep them out. Simply think of the line as a border, and draw it wherever you would like the ants to stop in their daily roamings. Just remember to redraw the line every-time it rains.

5. Make a shopping list.
[B]Why it will make life easier: [/B ]Firstly, a list will help you remember what you need to buy next time you're shopping. Secondly, you're less likely to spend extra money on items you don't need (but secretly want because of the pretty packaging). And lastly, checking items off a list is very satisfying.

These are just a few ways to make your life that bit easier. Stay tuned for more!
