Go for a drink and stay for a few to wash down the wings
My husband used to whinge about wine snobs and how there were so many wine bars but not a single bar dedicated to fancy and small batch brews for the beer-connoisseur. How times have changes and Tippler's Tap is now just one of a selection of venues across the city who focus on the foamy amber liquid over and above it's grapey cousin.
The tap beer menu is extensive with an ever changing array of local and imported small batches available. It's actually worth checking it out regularly as it changes so often, you won't want to miss out on the newest addition. For the bottled beers, favourite is always the Feral Hop Hog which has a strong but refreshing flavour and goes perfectly with the one kilo chicken wings, Tippler's signature dish. These are actually the main reason I drive across the city to eat here, they are the most crispy but juicy wings you'll ever encounter and the blue cheese sauce is the perfect accompaniment.
So cheers to a bar which feeds the needs of so many beer aficionados out there. It strives to bring the most delicious and interesting brews to it's customers and has a rocking food menu to go along with it. I recommend this place to every beer drinker I know and have never had a bad response!
