I'm loving the splurge of small bars in Sydney. I think its because they are not too big, or over crowded or too noisy and there are a few to check out within a small area. However, a fun night out means a few too many and tequila was the culprit in my case.
Entering the bar, the smell of popcorn hits you first, so I'm reminded of the movies. For those old school peeps, there was a suggestion that it reminded me of Arizona's, due to the strung up lighting, neon lit crab on the wall and wooden deco. Not so sure of the significance of the bra's all hanging in the bar.
My crew and I started with an excellent Margarita and shots of tequila to start the night. As you guess Tio's specialise in tequila but they have other drinks on offer such as beer.
An excellent margarita
This place oozes fun and a happy crowd, especially crowding round the bar and with waiters that throw bags of popcorn to enjoy whilst chatting with friends, what a great concept. The popcorn is pretty tasty sprinkled with paprika, so its savoury and a little spicy.
Definitely a great place to have a few cocktails and they are not too bad at $10 a pop. That's when I got a thinking, a few more of these and I can see why there was a clothes line of bra's hanging in the bra, but I let you experience that one.
