Adelaide local who loves her city
Published July 26th 2011

Since 1861, Tintara winemakers have been producing the highest quality wines. Situated in the beautiful McLaren Vale right on the main street, Tintara is open 7 days a week. The winery was once a flour mill that was converted by Thomas Hardy in the early 1920s. Today the winemaking continues and we South Australians are very fortunate indeed.

You are welcomed by the friendly staff who go out of their way to make sure your experience is a happy one. Try several varieties of their products in the beautiful heritage listed winery and maybe take home a bottle or two. For the more serious wine lovers you can book in to take part in a Masterclass, allowing you to really get to know your favourite wines. Of course this information also comes in handy at dinner parties so you can really impress your guests.

Head up to McLaren Vale anytime of the week and have a wonderful afternoon at Tintara.
