So you both swiped right, congratulations!

Now it's time for you to prove you're as cool as you seem in that Insta photo from two years ago with three filters and staged lighting. Don't stress! I have five fool-proof ideas that will make your Tinderella or Tindick (I am coining that term here and now) remember you for at least 7-10 days.

1. Luna Park
I'm going to give short descriptions here, but you guys already know the drill on this one- it's Luna Park! Dodgem cars and fairy floss, this old favourite is great for day or night dates.

Opening times: Changes depending on season, check the website.
Cost: About $50 pp.
Date #: First dates are super cute here.
Pash-mosphere: 10/10, who can resist a sneaky snog on the Ferris Wheel?

2. Escape Rooms
Locking your date in a room is usually creepy, but solving puzzles and finding clues to escape together is super fun! There's heaps of these Escape Rooms popping up around Sydney (Including the CBD, Moore Park, Newtown and Circular Quay) so it would be best to google which one's closet to you.

Opening hours: Usually ticketed for evening into night times.
Cost: $30-$40 pp.
Date #: 2, it's a fun activity but you don't have a lot of 'getting to know you' time.
Pash-mosphere: 3/10 there is a slight chance that the 'team building' aspect of this may put you in the friend zone.

3. Helensburgh Station Glowworm Tunnel
About an hour drive south of Sydney lies a hidden treasure. A romantic and secret tunnel alight with Glowworms every night. Park or leave the train at Helensburgh Station, walk onto the main road and straight across into what appears to be the bush. You'll see an old station sign, follow that into the darkness until you can see the shinning caves. Don't forget to wear water-proof boots and take a torch.

Opening hours: Every day after dark, however you MUST go only when it hasn't rained for about a week or else the tunnel will be flooded.
Cost: Free!
Date #: 3, you have to be comfortable enough with your date to travel that far with them.
Pash-mosphere: 10/10, it's oh so romantic. Plus it's dark and secluded enough for some mild 3rd date shenanigans ;)

4. Q Station Ghost Tours
I pooped myself when I went on the adult ghost tour last year. But, if you're not too freaked by the supernatural this is an unique way to show you're kooky side.

Opening hours: 8pm-1am Wed-Sunday nights dependant on tour.
Cost: $50-$75 pp.
Date #: Any really! It depends on the person you're trying to impress.
Pash-mosphere: 5/10, this one could go either way. Your date might run away, or they may run into your loving arms.

5. Slide bar
Are you ready to get a bit risqué? Slide bar offers a variety of Cabaret style shows in a classy sexy setting. It's dinner and a show that'll leave any tinder date breathless.

Opening hours: Nighttime, but see the website for bookings re each show.
Cost: About $50 pp.
Date #: 2, if you really want to impress them.
Pash-mosphere: 8/10, you probably won't get jumped during the mains, but you may be invited home.

That's all folks!

Have fun and stay safe!
