Timezone, A Family Trip To Remember We Saw A Giant Tentacle
Our trip to Timezone Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast was memorable. I usually feel my purse strings tighten before I even arrive at these kinds of places, even when it's the kids' pocket money at stake.
You will be pleasantly surprised that the games at Timezone are pretty reasonable in comparison to most arcades. Smaller games were $1.25, as opposed to $2 at our local arcade, giving the kids a bit more time for money.
I'm loving the set up at Timezone. There's no need to cart change around this massive arcade. Your funds are put onto a swipe card which your kids can run around and go wild with.
Timezone has both classic and more modern games, including simulators, first person shooter and ride on games. Inside the Timezone complex, you will also find bumper cars and laser skirmish.
One thing I'd like to note as a parent who has to spend lots of time standing around, the centre is air conditioned and plenty of seating is available.
Throughout the arcade, there are posts which you can check the balance of your card. Simulation games allow two riders even if one player isn't joining in. See my son's video blog below for some of the rides available.
We had a great time and would love to visit again.
