Make a difference: Want to help save food/reduce food waste? Come listen to Dinh Tran, the founder of the Save Food Movement, who will share her top tips on reducing food waste in your kitchen.
Enjoy nature: learn about the beautiful plants in the FoodFaith community garden and do a bit of volunteer gardening to help these plants flourish! (open to all levels of experience, you don't need to be an experienced gardener).
Satisfy your stomach: As a practical step towards reducing food waste, we are encouraging participants to bring any salad ingredients + bread that you have in your fridge. We will also be harvesting produce from the community garden, and we'll combine all the ingredients gathered from everyone into a tasty salad, so participants can enjoy a salad sandwich for brunch...healthy, tasty and satisfying!
