In the TV series Time to Fall in Love, a successful businessman, Gu Xicheng (played by Luo Zheng), is forced by his dying grandmother to find his other half as soon as possible because she wants her only grandchild to be happy and married before her bad health taking her away.

Sun Yanxi (played by Lin Xin Yi), a vlogger, happened to have an interview at Gu Xicheng’s company to promote this company's beauty product in her vlog. Sun Yanxi mistakenly went to Gu Xicheng's office, rather than to the interview room. Gu Xicheng bad and cold manners made Sun Yanxi leave his office before reaching an agreement. Gu Xicheng then asked his right-hand assistant, Situ Shuo, to help him find Sun Yanxi, so she could be in contract marriage until his grandma's health condition got better.

Situ Shuo mistakenly contacted He Jinxi, Sun Yanxi's twin sister. He Jinxi in trouble with having so much debt with many debt collectors, agreed to be in a marriage contract with Gu Xicheng. He Jinxi uses the money that she gets from Gu Xicheng for cosmetic surgery overseas. He Jinxi asked Sun Yanxi to replace her as Gu Xicheng's wife while she undergo surgery. He Jinxi also takes their sick mother overseas and goes to a better hospital to cure her sickness. He Jinxi threatens Sun Yanxi, that if she doesn’t want to be Gu Xicheng's temporary wife, Sun Yanxi won't be able to see their mother again.

"Time to Fall in Love" is adapted from the popular novel "The President's Mistakenly Pampered Sweet Wife." Bromance between Gu Xicheng and his assistant, Situ Shuo, makes this Chinese drama series interesting and funny. Misunderstanding between Situ Shuo and Sun Yanxi’s best friend, Lu An’an also makes this 24-episode drama series worth watching. Time to Fall in Love can be watched through streaming platforms.
