A fantastic range of gifts and garden products
One of the ways our family entertained ourselves during isolation was increased bird watching in our backyard. And while looking for bird baths to increase the attraction of our backyard for wild birds, we discovered Timbara Garden Centre.

Timbara Garden Centre has remained open throughout the pandemic, and have published a short checklist for people visiting them during this time. Them remaining open has been wonderful for many people across the Redlands, who found they had more time for gardening, growing their own veggies - or, bird watching.

As a garden centre, Timbara has all of the products you would expect such as mulch, potting soil, and a large variety of flowers. They even have a fruit tree section!

Winter fruit and veggies are available and ready for planting. Our kids were especially excited to see the rows of strawberry plants, with the birds we were shopping for temporarily forgotten in their excitement.

Timbara has a variety of birdbaths, so we walked away ready to work on our little family project. We chose one that we could put on a raised platform so that our labrador wouldn't tip it over, but there were many more traditional ones to choose from.

In keeping with the backyard animal theme, Timbara stocks a range of insect and bee hotels that in turn assist with pollination.

Finally, there is a small but well-stocked shop with gorgeous gifts of all kinds. These include mirrors, photo frames, bowls, and wall hangings - a great place to shop for a unique gift for someone who has everything!
