Internationally acclaimed Australian comedian, television presenter, author and lecturer, Tim Ferguson, is presenting a special comedy-writing workshop on the Gold Coast this August.

Tim is considered to be Australia's foremost narrative comedy teacher; since 2007 he has been a sessional lecturer in Screenwriting and Writing TV Comedy at RMIT University and has trained thousands of comedians and screenwriters through his Cheeky Monkey Comedy courses.

Entitled 'Write Comedy Now', this special one-off workshop is hosted by Gold Coast Writers' Workshops and will see Tim demonstrate a range of techniques designed to help writers develop their own unique jokes, stories and comic characters. The workshop is open to both beginners and professionals and is suitable for screenwriters and stand-up comedians.

The workshop will be held on Saturday, 10th August 2013 from 9.45 am to 4.00 pm at Fradgley Hall, above Burleigh Heads Library (corner Park Avenue and Connor Street, Burleigh Heads, Queensland).

To participate, the total cost is $145.00, which will include light refreshments.
