The Mediterranean summer climate in Adelaide offers the perfect opportunity for a rooftop bar and open air cinema to blossom during the Fringe Festival.

Located at the top of the Adelaide Central Bus Station car park, the will catch the balmy breezes during the evening and offers 700 guests a unique view of Adelaide as they watch free movies under the stars at this new cocktail bar.

While the moonlight cinema concept isn't unique in Adelaide, the Polynesian themed will be offering a specialised selection of food and drinks - tiki cocktails served by expert bar staff, a barrel of traditional grog for would be pirates and sailors, a barrel of punch, slushies from machines, and Coopers beer or Rosemount wine for the less adventurous.

A changing range of gourmet barbeque food is on the menu during the week, while weekends will see a rota of food trucks bringing you delish surprises throughout the Adelaide Fringe. Forget your expensive movie theatre options, the menu will be moreish at this open air cinema.

The roof top movies will feature some real classic cult gems - Dirty Dancing, Pretty Woman, Pulp Fiction, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Back to the Future, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas are some of the titles scheduled for February.

Fringe Festival performances ($13-18) already booked include Soulman O'Gaia, Love Cream, and Underground Music Films from Korea, but others are still being finalised, and will be listed on the website soon.

Entry to is free except on opening night, when $10 gets you a free drink, lei, and goodies bag. The rooftop car park will be transformed into a tropical paradise with artificial grass, palm trees, umbrellas, colourful tiki decorations and a range of seating from couches and theatre seats through to pallet seating and drinkers thrones. There are some great views of Adelaide's skyline and crane counting could easily become a daytime amusement.

Games such as mini golf will be available daytime, while on weekends there's a DJ competition, mostly spinning lounge style tunes. On Friday nights a hairdresser in the bar will be doing cuts, as well as make up and touch ups for girls - unless the boys in grass skirts need it too.

The and its romantic open air cinema are going to be a huge hit in Adelaide during the Fringe Festival, situated just down the road from Victoria Square's coolest place The Royal Croquet Club and handy to the Central Market, Chinatown and buses. Other Adelaide rooftop venues like the Rocket Bar will be watching this place closely!

Check out the website and Facebook page for all the latest about what's on at the during the Fringe Festival. They are open from noon until midnight (Sunday-Thursday), and until 1am on Friday and Saturday.
