The Tidbinbilla Open Day will be held on Sunday 2nd April, between 10am to 3pm at Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve (45 minutes south west of the CBD). The Open Day will have free entry to the whole reserve. There will be family entertainment at Sheedy's picnic area with live music, displays, food stalls, guided walks and children's activities. The theme of this year's event is "Celebrating Diversity" – a celebration of Tidbinbilla's diverse people, habitats and heritage.

Whilst there, visitors can see platypus in the wild at The Sanctuary boardwalk, view koalas in the trees and experience one of the many walking trails in the national park.

A free bus service will transport visitors around the reserve, picking up from the car parking at Dalsetta to drop off and pick up locations at Sheedys, Rock Valley Homestead and The Sanctuary.
