Cats the Musical will run in Adelaide at The Adelaide Festival Theatre from March 18th until April 10th 2016. Composed by Andrew Lloyd Weber, it is one of the longest running shows in the West End and on Broadway. It has been performed in over 300 cities around the world and won numerous awards, including Olivier and Tony awards for Best Musical.
Starring Delia Hannah as Grizabella, it's the story of a tribe of cats called the Jellicles and the night they make the Jellicle choice and decide which cat will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new life.
Hannah has earned her place as a Grizabella, having played numerous leading roles, including Fantine in Les Miserables, Anita in West Side Story, Eva Peron in Evita and Glinda in The Wizard of Oz, just to name a few.
