Cafe Poet resident Koraly Dimitriadis
To celebrate
National Poetry Week (3 - 7 Sep), Australian Poetry will be welcoming Melbourne-based Koraly Dimitriadis as Cafe Poet residency at the Brunswick Street Bookstore on Friday 7 September.
The
'Three Women': cafe poet launch will also be featuring well-renowned poets Bronwyn Lovell and Amy Bodossian. These three thirty-something women from across three capital cities will come together to speak of their tales of love, life, and womanhood through their poetry.
In addition to performing her poetry around Melbourne and in Cyprus, Koraly is a spoken word radio presenter on 3CR and author. Meanwhile you might recognise Amy from
Spicks and Specks, while Bronwyn has been published across national and international journals and has also performed at numerous literary festivals.
With three, strongly opinionated and talented poets, this launch will truly be a wonderful opportunity to share the burdens and joy of being female.
And as it will also be '
Buy Poetry Day' for National Book Week, the Brunswick Street Bookstore will be giving a 10% discount off poetry books.
