Earlier this year, I went to a pop up shop hosted by an online fashion retailer by the name of Threadbare.co. I had never visited a "pop-up shop" before but the idea intrigued me and when I got there, I was welcomed kindly by Fiona Malcolmson, and offered cupcakes by Teresa Gomez, the brains behind the successful online store.

I'm not usually one to shop for exclusive designer brands but I really liked the idea of an online space translating itself to a physical space, I thought it was too novel an idea to miss out. If nothing else the opportunity to meet Co-Creators and Founders of Threadbare, Teresa Gomez and Fiona Malcolmson themselves and receive some professional style advice.
From Saturday the 7th of December until Sunday the 22nd of December, lovers of creation and design in Townsville have the opportunity to explore and experience the world of premiere, niche and exclusive fashion.

"Pop ups are a great way to get to meet our customers face to face and get to know more about them. Even though we are an online store, it is important for us to find avenues to speak with our valued customers. So we're excited to be bringing Threadbare to Townsville and getting to know our customers here, especially for me, as Townsville is my hometown," said Fiona Malcolmson.
Fiona studied at James Cook University before moving to Brisbane, she completed a course in Graphic Design and began working for Style Magazine.
Her passion for style, fashion and design mirrors Teresa's passion. Teresa worked in retail marketing and has lived and breathed fashion and design for as long as she can remember.
