Family friendly fun at Thornleigh Golf Centre
One of Sydney's best public golf courses - Thornleigh Golf Centre is a real gem in the golfing world. Open only a few years ago, it has something for everyone. Literally.

Ladies golf lessons are a great way to meet some like minded friends, exercise, and most importantly, have fun. The skills are directed at all abilities and there is a lot of laughter! While we visited, I was engaged watching a group of ladies with their 'pro' learning skills such as club position and angle. There were definitely a few slices and gentle ribbing.

Golf for kids is also a big hit here at Thornleigh. With the aim to get the kids outside and active, they are doing their bit to encourage the outdoor lifestyle that all children should have access to. As well as golf for kids and the upcoming school holidays they were advertising their school holiday clinics which looked action packed and heaps of fun.

When I previously visited Thornleigh during my last stop in Sydney (towing a 3 and 5 year old!) we had a fantastic game of mini-golf. This is a seriously interactive, fun-filled place with an array of obstacles to overcome. Ponds, waterfalls, bridges - the mini-golf has it all. There are two mini 18 hole courses to choose from. My boys and I had a blast ... all while my husband had a hit at their top notch driving range. Reduced his stress, the kids had a ball, and we finished up the afternoon with a snack from their Bunker Cafe.

I highly recommend Thornleigh Golf Centre, with its friendly service, exceptional staff and something-to-suit-everyone model.
